SVJETLANA MLINAREVIC THE CARILLON Steinbach Regional Secondary School graduate Ryan Brandt has a surprised look on his face after learning he won the Reginald J. Penner Memorial Academic Scholarship for $2,000 at the RBC Convention Centre in Winnipeg. SRSS principal Sherry Bestvater looks just as surprised as Brandt. This is the largest graduating class for SRSS at 515 students with a combined average grade of 81 percent.
