MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR Welcome to Steinbach! I would like to extend the warmest greetings to you as you explore and discover why our city is a great place to call home. Steinbach is the ideal place to live with its strong sense of com- munity and unmistakable generous people. Add this to our beautiful parks, bustling arts and culture scene, strong business community, and welcoming neighbourhoods, it’s no wonder we are the third largest and one of the fastest growing communities in the province. While you are here, I hope you have an opportunity to shop for treasures in our stores, enjoy a delicious meal at one of our many restaurants, and visit some of our wonderful attractions in- cluding the Mennonite Heritage Village Museum, Steinbach Aquatic Centre, K.R. Barkman Park, and the stunning Southeast Event Centre.
Steinbach also hosts some fan- tastic annual events, fun for the whole family, including Summer in the City Festival, Pioneer Days, and Canada Day Celebration. No matter if you are here for a few hours or a few days, I know you will enjoy your time in Steinbach and every- thing our vibrant city has to offer.
